How hard is it to replace a bent valve in the 3.0 V6? Any help is appreciated.

I doubt it is any harder than any other engine, but expensive. I still have my original VG30 sitting on the stand. I found it cheaper to replace the engine than to replace the bad crankshaft and light rebuild that would have been the minimum I would have done on an engine with 200k miles on it if I opened it up to work on it.

Bah, not the answer I was wanting to hear. I stripped my front end on the truck and found my core support was a little rusted. A buddy at work said to bring it out and he would weld it up for me. I fired it up and it was only running on 5 cyl. Drove it out anyway. We patched the core and then got to looking as to what was causing it to run so bad. We pulled each of the wires til we narrowed it down, bad plug. He had an Autolite, so we stuck it in, nothing. I thought I had a dead cylinder, and I know one of the valves is slightly bent from trying to start it out of time. Stopped into AutoZone and bought a single NGK and put it in, fired right up and runs like before, so I don't think I'll have to worry about the bent valve right now, but maybe down the road.
Thanks Eric.

I would run a compression check first. It could be a problem elsewhere, like an injector that is clogged or malfunctioning or a problem with the dist cap or wire.
