Quick performance upgrades?
      #590703 - 11/22/08 06:23 PM

I just bought a new 08 Frontier and I am loving it. I just put in a K&N air filter and am looking for some more performance upgrades. Does anyone have any recommendations for GOOD and quick upgrades? Possibly something you have done to your truck that you would recommend. Thank you for any ideas.

My frontier is so much faster than my old Pathfinder that I've never really thought about performance upgrades, lol... Seems like the typical exhaust and intake mods could be done, but I dunno how much more performance you're looking for?

Yes I agree this is a solid truck but i just cant help but want more. I am looking into exhausts but if I am going to do it I am going to do it right. Thanks for your comments.

maybe not quick and easy but headers have always been considerd best bang for the buck. plus they boost the increase of any other mod you do after.

My Frontier is dirt slow. I just did my quarter mile time and it was around 20.2 seconds. I can do better but still, I traded in a car that was in the 12's. Therefore my quick upgrade suggestion (in this order) would be, GT tuner for the ECU and more, headers, exhaust, intake and maybe a mass flow air sensor. And remove all the access stuff you dont need. Might save a second and a half.
