will a viscous lsd from a 240sx with a r200 rear fit in a r200a front diff of a pathfinder?

All I can say is probably so. I used a C200 LSD in my R200, but to do so, I had to anneal, drill and thread the slug that acted as an axle spacer in the C200 application. It fit fine, but lacked a drilled and tapped spider gear for the stub shaft to attach to. If the diffs you mentioned have the threaded hole needed, I believe it would work.
I wish I knew more about it, but that's all I've got.

stated here that u do not want this unit as it works only when sped up not any good for offroad and i believe it will not fit

I'm not familiar with the viscous units. Just to clarify, I was referring to the clutch type. Thanks for pointing that out, Madhornet.
